Goals and Objectives
| Goal 1: |
Develop a foundation marketing plan to the community.
Objective 1: Utilize all media outlets; radio, print, television (MVTV 10) to educate the community on foundation.
Objective 2: Distribute letters to attorneys, financial planners and accountants identifying the foundation, notifying them of our existence, with the goal of requesting donations.
Objective 3: Distribute letters to the general community identifying the foundation and requesting donations.
Objective 4: Identify new board Directors for the foundation with an emphasis on skills and strengths that can enhance board in a positive manner.
Objective 5: Use media sources to promote projects the foundation completes or intends to complete. |

Establish a fundraising committee to research funding options.
Objective 1: Identify successful fundraising projects for the foundation.
Objective 2: Create a budget which represents fiscal responsibility.
Objective 3: Develop a timeline for implementation of fundraisers.
Objective 4: Study and determine available grants or foundation funding sources.
Objective 5: Establish an investment policy.

Identify projects to be initiated in 2009-2010 schoo year with foundation funding.
Objective 1: Contact the school district to determine current needs.
Objective 2: Come to a consensus as a board on potential projects.
Objective 3: Study and determine if mini-grants can be awarded. |

Review Director terms to ensure smooth transitions for outgoing members.
Objective 1: Contact current Directors to identify their intentions.
Objective 2: Study and determine if number of Directors should be modified.
Objective 3: If necessary to ensure smooth transitions for outgoing members identify rotation dates. |
