About Us - Vision and Mission
strength and impact
AN IDENTITY THAT SPEAKS TO OUR VISION
AND DEEP CONNECTION TO THE COMMUNITY
The Mount Vernon Public Schools Foundation logo
characterizes strength, impact, vitality, and broad
support. Each quality – growth, lasting impact,
strength, vitality – is inherent to the organizational
vision for the Foundation.
The logo is also symbolic of a “tree of wisdom,” which
denotes continual academic study, progression, and
development.
The tree symbolizes our natural environment in
Skagit County. The dark green of the tree reflects
the vibrant effects of nature; while the lighter green
signifies a vibrant energetic force, new beginnings
and continued growth.
The green and white also are commonly associated
with Mount Vernon Schools and Bulldog pride.
